Giving back is important to us…

Momentum Search and Selection feels strongly about supporting charitable organisations. Each team member has a chosen charity which includes The Butterfly Foundation, Lasallian Foundation, National Breast Cancer Foundation and the Brain Foundation.

Butterfly Foundation

The Butterfly Foundation represents all people affected by eating disorders and negative body image; a person with the illness, their family and their friends.

Business founder Alan has a strong personal connection to the Butterfly Foundation, having had his sister pass away in 2013 after a history of eating disorders.

Momentum Search and Selection have raised over $10,000 for the Butterfly Foundation, helping the charity to run prevention programs and provide direct relief services for those who are already suffering from an eating disorder.

Lasallian Foundation

The Lasallian Foundation supports development programs in impoverished communities, believing that education is one of the key tools in the fight against poverty. Education provides literacy, knowledge and skills that will create opportunities for children and young people, enabling them to live better lives.

National Breast Cancer Foundation

The National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) is Australia’s leading national body funding game-changing breast cancer research with money raised entirely by the Australian public. The NBCF’s mission is zero deaths from breast cancer by 2030 by identifying, funding and championing world-class research.

Since NBCF’s inception in 1994, $162 million has been invested in 514 Australian breast cancer research projects. In this time, 5 year breast cancer survival rates have improved from 76% to 90%: proof that their strategy of funding targeted breast cancer research is working.

The Brain Foundation

The Brain Foundation is a nationally registered charity dedicated to funding world-class research Australia-wide into neurological disorders, brain disease and brain injuries.

Established in 1970 by neurologists and neurosurgeons, the Brain Foundation funds merit-based, ground breaking research projects that aim to advance diagnoses, treatment and patient outcomes.
